As a courtesy, we will file your insurance claims for you, provided that you supply us with complete and accurate information. It is your responsibility to know your plan’s benefits, if any, and to pay any deductible, co-insurance or any balance not paid by your insurance company. Please remember that insurance is considered a method for reimbursing the patient for fees paid to the doctor and is not a substitute for payment.

You might have benefits for your surgery through your medical and or dental insurance plan. Please call your insurance company prior to your visit to verify your benefits

If your insurance company does not process your claim within 60 days, you will be billed directly for the full fee. An estimate of the charges for your surgery will be given to you at your consultation. A current x-ray is needed for our doctors to provide us with a complete estimate of our fees.Your specific insurance plan may require a prior authorization, generally, it is processed between 4-6 weeks. It is your responsibility to inform us so we can assist you with this process. We strive to make your estimate as accurate as possible, however, benefits may have been used between the periods of the consultation and the surgery. It is only an estimate and the final payment portion will be determined once the claim is submitted to your insurance company.

Patient Billing
We send out statements the third week of every month. Most dental insurance companies will respond within 2-4 weeks, the medical insurance companies take longer. Your payment is expected promptly.

Patient overpayments will be refunded up to 30 days after all insurance processing is finalized.

You will be responsible for all collection costs. Delinquent accounts will be sent to an outside agency for collection after a final notice letter has been sent out.
